Well first of all, when you think about it, life sucks, and that's funny.

And thinking about ones life might get to some people and they get depressed, so they try to seek happiness through spiritual enlightenment, ie living in the moment, and that's also funny.

You might see it as 'deluding yourself with reality' and refrain from thinking about it, as a person living in the moment isn't aware of anything else but the moment.
