...of the Battle Royale genre

So..., I am currently trying to learn to play games from a genre that I like but with a strong multiplayer component because my best friend in real life -which has always been a console gamer- purchased a laptop with a RTX 3060 and is becoming a PC gamer.
It's for that reason that I am downloading the so called "last great Battlefield game" -Battlefield 1- and....
.... after reading the article above, I am thinking about getting Hunt: Showdown (which can also be played Solo) by Crytek. Steam reviews are very positive, thousands of them, so.....
Crytek has always been one of my most admired companies, their engines were a step above other more popular engines, technically wise.
Battle royale stuff, on the other hand, has never been my forte, specially because games for the masses are a huge turn off for me, seeing the rat kids playing Fortnite and so on is just too much. Additionaly, I rarely play multiplayer, but with my best friend IRL I don't mind and I even have fun.
