Probably about Spring '07. It looks like PS3 will still have a lot of launch period buyers by this spring (because of europe). I'd say right before the time there's a price drop for the PS3.

Have you actually tried the gamepads? The dual analog x360 gamepad is actually, quite "intuitive". And im speaking as a pc kind of guy here. Aiming is easy and works like a charm for everything except PD:Z.

I havent tried any FPS's on the PS3 yet, but reports say the analogs are much improved.

of course. i even have one for my PC (i never use anymore)...i've owned a PS2 (sold it) and i have an xbox. i only like sports titles on them. mouse targeting is more fun than auto targeting IMO. i want to aim myself, not have my targets picked for me.
