_xxx_ said:This is a "reverse search" game of a kind, you get the results and have to find out the search phrase. Try it here.
Yeah I got stuck on that one.Simon F said:Gave up at the tax question
_xxx_ sounds to me like you might enjoy: http://www.thestoneunturned.com/ which a mate of mine set up. I haven't looked at it for ages but, IIRC, solving the puzzles involved being able to do some clever internet searching.

What? I'd say both the 'tax' and the displayed results are red herrings.DudeMiester said:Here's a hint. Google the other terms you see in his results!
Pick a segment of text from one of the search results. Then Google for that segment, enclosed in quotes, and use the site:thesearchresult-domain.com as a qualifier.Zaphod said:What? I'd say both the 'tax' and the displayed results are red herrings.
Not for the tax question. The solution there is a Google operator/keyword and not part of the result.zeckensack said:Pick a segment of text from one of the search results. Then Google for that segment, enclosed in quotes, and use the site:thesearchresult-domain.com as a qualifier.
Then you'll find the full text on that site, including the ?????? and you're done.
I only found this to be true for the first few. I had a hard time with the pictures one (finally found it from the impressionism hint here). Now I'm stuck on 1.e, which is a google finance, but I'll be damned if I can find any hint at all (other than the stock price) as to what stock it is.K.I.L.E.R said:I beat it.
Very easy if you type in the phrases in the real Google.
You're thinking of the patent one.DudeMiester said:afaik, it's not an operator. The tax one was a series of numbers.
