Major patch released today, and while I haven't yet bought this game, it seems like they've made a lot of performance improvements.
Here's just some of them pertaining to performance and I bolded some of the more important ones:
Raytracing
- Improved stability and performance after long play throughs.
- Improved VFX performance with raytracing.
- Also improved performance by batching and caching raytracing buffers.
- Removed fog volumes for better BVH performance.
- Fixed RTAO making decals black.
- Fixed directional light shadows.

Hogwarts Legacy March 8th Patch improves overall gameplay, Ray Tracing, performance, stability and online connectivity.
