Hexus predicts 8 GPU ATI notebooks

There are rumours about a multi-GPU ATI configuration for notebooks. Up to 8 GPUs, so we've heared. However, right now it just seems to be something for journos to get excited about and little else.

What the heck kind of timeframe is that supposedly for?

Hexus muckies, btw, are apparently touring the Far East AIBs and such right now, hence their recent cluster of forward-looking tidbits.

It sounds fast and expensive, but what would be the use of that in anything but a very heavy server?

Is it possible there was some misunderstanding and it's actually 8 SKUs for mobile? And not 8 GPUs in a single system.
