HBO and MCE 2005

HBO is part of my basic cable package and not a protected station. It tunes on my old VCR fine. Now why does Win XP MCE 2005 keep locking me out when I try to watch something?

If I can tune it on a basic VCR why not on my theater pro 550? It keeps blue screening me and saying its protected content, when its part of my basic package and does not need a "box" to tune.

Very frustrating as it is service I pay for, not to mention the money I shelled out for this hardware and OS.

Update:

For anyone else suddenly getting this "restricted content" blue screen with things like HBO viewing under MCE 2005 just reinstall the "roll up" and the hotfixes with it. If you got the three disk set it should be on the third disk. Was quick and painless.

Apparently media player 10 can bork DRM when it is first loaded|used in some cases.
