My son had prepare a hand-made card for me today. The gift from my daughter was a kiss. And I have bought a new TV (my old Sony TV finally failed with sounds from some blown capacitor after 10 years, don't want to repair it anymore) as a gift for my wife (my kids and her are the major users of the TV, I am always on the monitor, ha ha), took them to a happy dinner tonight (oh, it is June 16 2:32am in Hong Kong already).
And yeah, happy fathers day to all fathers.

My kids mother (we're divorced, but she lives nearby) stopped by & picked them up yesterday to shop for me. I was surprised by the gift my 13yr old daughter got me > a highbcak 'executive' chair' for my hours in front of this monitor.
I've got a bad back & the other chair wasn't helping. She thought about it & saved (no one knew) to get me this chair. So thoughtful of her. It's perfect!My 10yr old son got me my much anticipated RAIDERS hat! 8) It's my 'necktie' every Fathers Day. He got me a 2002 AFC Champions hat this year. Go RAIDERS!
We all watched the NASCAR Michigan 500 together & my #2 Driver (Kurt Busch) beat their Tony Stewart (daughter) & Matt Kenseth (son) drivers, but my #1 (Mark Martin) was behind Tony & Matt got 4th! Good race.
Finished it all off w/chicken & corn on the cob on the BBQ, a big salad, watermelon & strawberries & ice cream (burp, 'cuse me
) for dessert. I burnt the chicken & they did the rest. Thanks for the HFD: it was!

)we took my dad to the cheese cake factory. Then him and i had some of the blue label i bought him and then he went to boston for busness.
My father is the only parent i get along with. I've messed up alot in my life (school , women , jobs) but he allways has faith in me no matter what. Thats why i respect him and love him. So i try to spend as much time with him as possible . We wake up to watch the italian soccer games , go out once a week to see a movie or something . and we fix thins around the house and after that we wait for the repair man to come fix what we fixed around the house My mother and i don't talk though so i dunno.

Being grateful for what we have & striving to make our & others lives a lil better (if we can) is what this life is all about, IMO. We all stumble at it & sometimes we fall. Gotta pick up, dust off & continue on tho'. I'm glad it made you feel good micron & I hope you get the chance to spend more time with your kids when ya can: I'm sure they are looking forward to it also.
