No announcement has been made.

After that G-Man's Mike Shapiro's highly suggestive post on X, people, including myself, have gotten very excited and hopeful about the possibility of Half-Life 3 being released this year. It could, of course, not be HL3 but some other kind of Half-Life game.

Valve have made it pretty clear they are working on a new Half-Life game. Whether anything sees the light of day is another question.

Linux and Steam Deck exclusive, although also published on consoles, I am seeing it.

I think it’s incredibly unlikely whatever they are making is anything close to half life 3.
