Greatness Exchange (Use Trophies for Tickets to Win Prizes)

Interesing little contest SCE has going on called the "Greatness Exchange". If you've seen the Greatness Awaits trailer (making of video here), some of the props and costumes may have caught your eye. Many of those items, along with some other swag, are up for grabs. There are 3 simple steps.

1. Go to the Greatness Exchange website and log in with your PSN ID.
2. Use your Gold Trophies as entry tickets on the various prizes.
3. Wait to see if you've won.

Trophies are not consumed, of course, but tickets are. In other words, if you have 25 Gold trophies, and put 25 tickets on the Helghast Support outfit, you'll be out of entries for the rest of the contest (or until you earn more Golds). The entry time when you can bid (with tickets) on items varies by item, so, some have already been won (sorry didn't find out about this until yesterday).

I'm not sure what regions this is available to, but it appears to be handled by SCEA. You can probably find out in the Rules.

This seems to be quite heavily tied to the initial marketing push and the whole "Greatness Awaits" campaign. I'm going to guess a 1 time thing with very specific timing.

I had never even considered any other use for them until now. Very interesting approach.

Well, at least use them as chips for clan wars or 1-on-1 duel (e.g., Dark Souls PvP).

Present those "won" trophies separately.

Edit: trophies and achievements are quite boring to me otherwise.
