So I don't know if you've ever gone through this, but this is how it used to be when you got a new game:
Me: Hey man, I just got the new Timesplitters. Come over, and we'll play it.
Friends: OK! (Fun commences.)
This is how it goes now:
Me: Hey man, I just got Fear 2 for cheap. We should play it online.
Friend 1: I don't have a PS3; I have a 360.
Friend 2: I just bought a bunch of DLC for Fallout 3 and don't have money.
Friend 3: I just bought Riddick and don't have money.
Me: Fine. (Commence playing with not my friends)
I'm guessing there are more than a few of us that like to play games with friends, but not all our friends have the same console or are willing to buy the same game. Then there are even a few weirdos who actually like seeing friends face-to-face. Online is cool and all, but right now, my friends and I still play Gamecube or Wii games when we get together. So what are some good games for PS3 or 360 that have local 4-person multiplayer? Because nothing I've looked at does except Halo 3.
