I just watched the GTTV episode. GoWIII looks ridiculously impressive... But Transformers: War For Cybertron gave me chills!!!

New footage looks amazing, if I had to complain about something it would be that some of the grass textures on the ground look a tiny bit flat - apart from that it's totally awesome!

The demo was slightly disappointing, but that GTTV episode has me sold. I will definitely be picking this up...heck, I may pick-up the ultimate Trilogy version if I can find it.

Anyone know how long the average game is expected to be?

I only watched the gifs and kept strong! But man all the reactions are really tempting me to the edge and I really wanna play it fresh. OH God what to do.
    Good idea man.

Well, I am happy to see him not frowning. :p

Stunning presentation. I LOL'ed when they showed the first person killing. When one of the eyeballs fall off, will we see split-screen ? ^_^

Did I see things wrong, or is the on-screen prompt for a double-thumbed eye-gouge R3+L3? That's sorta amazing.

I wonder what the twist is that GT alluded to.
It would be cool if at the end of the game you end up playing Kratos in the modern era as was alluded to in the ending of the first GOW

Just look at the fellow who is on the left side [2nd pic] his head is totally covered in shadow cast by his hammer.

That's definitely not a shadow cast from the hammer onto himself. :p It's a shadow being cast from some apparatus above and off-camera (see the rest of the shadow on the ground).

The pics in that GAF post are from Gamereactor, the set has 3 more pics which are interesting. Going by text they say it is from the first 2 hours of game.

    Interesting observation about shadows, selfshadowing.

Self shadow is present for Kratos...we are talking over Self shadows for enemies/Grunts.

Why are people worrying/wondering about self-shadowing on grunts when pics like this...
...don't even have any shadows for the skeleton, such that I don't know if it's on the ground or flying through the air!

It's present on Kratos, Titans, Gods, bosses and some enemies probably...

Talos ("hammer-guy") dont cast shadow on himself (al least it cant be seen on that pic) but enviroment shadows are cast on him so I think this is "self shadowing". Am I right? :)

Well yea I did a mistake by mentioning grunts there as they obviously lack self shadowing, but the concern is actually towards bigger enemies like cyclops, Chimera etc etc.

lmao ! You are right :)
