I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet.

The second "System" spec is available today (Apple dual 1.8Ghz G5, 512MB of RAM, prototype add-in card from ATI, large amount of VRAM separate from system RAM). The first system isn't.

Perhaps Nintendo is using "System 2" for alpha/beta devkits and switching to real "System 1" hardware once it is available?

Or PERHAPS both these "systems" are just the brainchild of some geek on the internet and has no relevance at all with reality?

I know which alternative I would think is more probable...

I think these two sets of specs are actually the specs of current or near-future development kits. not the actual GCNext silicon.

HOLD ON A SECOND! That second system spec seems awefully familiar......in fact it sounds like the xbox 2 dev kits...
