Why not??
I'm pretty sure it's a joke, that's pretty much the standard response you see these days whenever anything is posted.

Still, dissapointing that there's no anisotropic filtering. :)

I think it could definately be possible on the psp, only thing that throws it off is AA. Most psp games have no AA at all. Unless Sony let the devs take use of the 333mhz? Which I doubt.

Shouldn't this be in the Handhelds section.

I don't see wht these couldn't be PSP screens, it's a 3rd person semi top-down view game, like the MGS series.

The graphics look good, that's true, but I don't get why the usual suspects are quick to doubt they are legitimate, joking or not.

If you can track them down, the full page scans (that these were taken from by the way) give a much better impression of their authenticity. These shots have been downsampled from higher resolution scans, and you can clearly see aliasing on the bottom two images.

The fourth page of the article has a blown up image which highlights the low texture resolution and aliasing, which these smaller shots mask, that is typical of PSP games.

Ack, sorry I didn't mean to be harsh. I was originally quoting dskneo you see... but when I finished what I was writing I realised it was addressing what you were saying specifically rather than dskneo's dismissive one-liner.

Heck in a world thanks to EA where almost all of their publicity shots are rendered in ~4000x2000, it's getting increasinly difficult to judge what's genuine and what isn't. I was questioning these shots for a while too, until I found the complete scans.

Nah, wasnt harsh at all. I was just saying that explanation on the screen shots makes sense now that I think about it. And I wasnt being sarcastic when I said thanks before. :)

its sarcasm (like, acording to some fanatics, anything from guerrila must be prerendered)

its obviously realtime :)

Damn you boy, sarcasm is usually accompanied with a bloody smiley of some sort.
