New Firmware out, 3.10. This one apparently has quite a different setup, security wise. Anyway, here are the formally listed changes (haven't seen them elsewhere yet):
- support for Playstation Network titles has been expanded
- support for the MPEG-4 AVC format has been added under [Location Free Player]
- [Dynamic Normaliser] has been added as a feature under [Sound Settings] in [Settings]
Other notable stuff:
Under [Settings] in de browser, there is now an option for [Conserve Memory] that can be turned on or off. "If you set this option to [On], less memory will be used but image quality will be reduced"
Note that all versions up to and including 3.03 can now be downgraded, and then back-upgraded to a special homebrew 3.03 version, so if you had any plans to do that, don't install 3.10.
