Have you watched the vids? There's plenty of space between players, far more than coop titles like Champions of Norrath of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. If you're not going split screen or online-only, there are limits, but Fable 2 seems to be handling them very well, and IMO online only coop is too restrictive.
