Alright, my gym charged me double this month by mistake and I won't get reimbursed until early NEXT WEEK - which is shite because I'm going to the UK this coming weekend (Newcastle) and I could have used the extra $$...

Then I bought a multi-format flashcard reader yesterday (and a compact flash card) to store stuff I don't trust my aging Deathstar harddrives to hold, and it turns out the internal unit has those infernal pin-header USB connectors rather than standard USB connectors on the cables. Of course, my mobo HAS NO PIN-HEADER CONNECTORS! I do however have two internal PROPER USB connectors!

I won a day cruise there in a promotional offer that dropped in my mailbox. The trip itself won't cost me a penny, but of course I will have to eat etc on the boat as the trip takes almost a day one way, hehe... Guess that's how the shipping line think they'll make a profit on me.

Oh don't worry, I'll only be ashore for about six hours, I think I'll live.

Besides, London wasn't really the most scenic of places either really; cramped, worn-down, crowded, smelly and really really DIRTY... One would think you guys still heat your buildings with coal fire, it's really that bad, maybe except the tall glass office complexes in the business district, but give them a couple more years and they'll get smeared down too I bet.
