My daily intake is about 8 cans.
I have no need for innebriation. 8)

1. My life rocks and I love it.

2. Booze kills the buzz.

That sounds quite unhealthy I have to say, both from a calories-POV as well as internal-organ-wise. Prepare to say 'hi' to liver cirrhosis...

I like Beer.
It makes me a jolly good fellow.
I like Beer.
Sometimes it makes me feel mellow.

Whisky's too rough.
Champagne costs too much.
And vodka puts my mouth in gear.

So let me explain,
with this simple refrain:
As a matter of fact, I like beer! (Tom T. Hall)

Guinness and Sierra Nevada Stout, actually. Chewier the better, I say. It was very cool to be drinking Guinness in the UK on our trip there. They don't drink it nearly as warm as you hear, tho not as cold as we would drink it in the US.

If beer="MGD, Bud Ice, Heineken, Michelob, Molson, Icehouse"
echo "I LOVE beer"
If beer!="MGD, Bud Ice, Heineken, Michelob, Molson, Icehouse"
echo "Beer is good"
If beer="Pissy Microbrew Crap"
echo "Pansy"

BTW, the Oktoberfest is starting in Munich these week, has anyone been there ? :?:
I went a few years back- it was a great experience. I'm not much a beer drinker (though I managed a few of those "tiny little steins") but the beer tents (tent is an understatement) are quite incredible. Got lots of progressively blurrier and blurrier photos.... amazing how the atmosphere can affect a camera's autofocus :)

More beer-lyrics:

REEL BIG FISH LYRICS

"Beer"

she
called me
late last
night, to say she loved me so
it didn't matter anymore, but
i say she never cared
and that she never will, i'd
do it all again
i guess i'll have to wait until then

if i get drunk well, i'll pass out
on the floor now baby
you won't bother me no more
if you're drinkin' well, you know
that you're my friend and i say
i think i'll have myself a beer.

she called me late last night, to say
she loved me,
so..? but i guess he changed her mind
well i should have known it wouldn't be
all right, but i can't live without her
so i won't even try...

maybe some day, i'll think of what to say.
maybe next time i'll remember what to do,
she looks like heaven, maybe this is hell,
said she'd do it all again, she'd
promise not to tell!

if i get drunk well,
i'll pass out
on the floor now baby
you won't bother me no
more
(and she said)
it's ok boy cause
you know
we'll be good
friends and i say, i think
i'll have myself a beer.

Unless you're drinking alcohol-free beer that'd make you an alcoholic by UN definitions...

Beer is good

I also like whiskey, wine and champagne.

What about a Dannemann cigar and a JW Black Label at the end of the day 8)

Are you serious? Do your kids see you consuming this much?
Yeah but the "daily intake" isn't quite so accurate... 8 cans/day happens maybe on certain days where I'm at the PC poring over stuff. And that happens maybe 4 days a week (usually Friday through weekends through Monday).

No, my son never sees me drink so much -- they usually happen when he's at school or after he's asleep at night.

An alcoholic, by my definition, is a person that can't live without liquor every day. That's not me, thankfully :)

Sorry for the "daily" word!

Actually I prefer the definition of alcoholic to be one who doesn't know when they are going to stop once they start drinking. (I picked that one up in rehab once, I REALLY used to be a lush. )

I thought an alcholic was a drunk that went to meetings.
No, that's someone who is "dry" as opposed to "sober"...if I recall correctly. (My rehab/AA bit was back in like '89, and it didn't take.)
