The PC delay could be a real tech reason: to port it to PC.
And announcing it even before PS4 version released?
Who's working as Kojima's business relation? It seems they are superb!
Got tons of support from Sony, from big stars, and now announcing pc release before PS4 got released.
Or... Kojima did the business relation himself?
He's kinda jack of all trades, master of everything...

Decima Engine on PC is very interesting indeed. As an in-house creation, it's likely shared a lot of knowledge with Sony's studios and internal workflows. Seeing that best practice come to PC is exciting. How will the engine be supported? Sony have history in this though offering the little-known PhryEngine for many years. Recently Dragon Quest Builders on Switch was running on Sony's engine.

Among what proportion though? That ridiculous second tweet has 11 likes. Versus 17,400 for the PC announcement tweet.
Also, would be awesome to see some RT enhancements to Decima. Would point a little towards RT possibilities on PS5, with presumably Guerilla adding these features for their own use too.

There's only good in this, more copies will get sold eventually, and the port is quite 'easy' as the PS4 basically is a pc anyway. This trend is only getting more in the future with games not being restricted to one platform. MS was out first with this and now Sony slowly begun too. Guess developers want to reach as many people as possible anyway, the only winner would be the platform holder.

The PC port seems like a great opportunity for the first released implementation of Decima's RT. Gorilla should already be experimenting with it for their next game.
KP & Gorilla talked about how tech sharing is more collaborative than just fling code over to each other. Could well be that however they utilise ray tracing is a genuine joint effort.
Yes many commented this, and also that the old way of exclusives isn't really the way forward.
In what way could death stranding benefit from RT, it's mostly a open barren world?

There's a fair number of internal spaces in what they've shown, wizzy holograms and shiny hardware.

I would be more surprised if Sony didn't know it was going to PC from the start.
If they really want to cause a sh!t storm they should say epic store exclusive.
No one is hurt by this, only people that think it should be a exclusive to a certain platorm are.
It is probably sony themselfs that want this game on other platforms then PS though. It wasn't really obvious to us gamers.
Furthermore i personally wouldn't be hurt if it was a epic or steam or whatever exclusive as it's on the same platform.
