Ah, that's what they want you to think. But both the One S and X are offspring of the One and thus inherited the Xaiyan genes from the Xbox One. This is why the Xbox Series consoles can't do it. And since the Xaiyan homeworld was destroyed, no other consoles will ever be able to take advantage of Kraken Ultra+.

9GB on XBO, because the rest is installed in the cloud.

I'm not often impressed by graphics anymore but this is pretty impressive! The facial details on the character models and sheer ridiculous vastness of the levels while maintaining such a high level of detail is crazy! Almost recalls the 2005 Killzone demo for me, where you just dont expect such detailed models in a open world.

The running animations are quite unnatural though.

If this has a campaign I'm now likely to purchase it just as a showcase. As campaign must look even that much better.

    Edit:

    That sucks.

Havent played it yet but watched some MP footage today and it looks quite nice imo, maybe thats due to lowered expectations due to the negativity it has gotten here graphics wise. So much expectations can do :p

Doesn't play well at all. Plays like an actual beta.

A few streamers I watched said it played well, just has a few bugs and glitches that detract from the experience.

I don't believe it's available to the public yet. Only streamers/content creators.

If you pre-ordered or if you have GamePassUltimate or EA Access you can get it.

It installed at 13.3 GB even through the download was only 9.3 GB and then it also reserved 4 GB of space under saved data, along with a 1.1 K save file on the Xbox One. Very odd behavior.

The Xbox One version running on the Series X seems to be stuck at the main title screen where neither A nor Y function at all. Those features function fine on the One X.

Early comments I'm hearing from people playing the demo is that control responsiveness and how combat feels is more like COD than Battlefield. At least on PC. I haven't watched anyone playing the console version. And everyone I know only plays it on PC.

painful experience for me. Coming off Halo has really changed my perspective of things. Controls and feeling is the utmost importance and I just didn't get that feedback from this game. Everything just felt off and slow, janky. Like I couldn't get the cursor to go where I wanted it to. I'm not sure I fully appreciate all teh spawn location changes either. I'm if a recon class, I should be allowed to sneak behind enemy lines and have whole platoons spawn on me and now that's being heavily sectioned off. You cannot spawn into enemy territory. I have really no other purpose

very disappointed, game is constantly flickering where part of the screen are going black for a split second ... super annoying! Controls feels very clunky and choppy, i dont feel it i have absolutely no urge to play this game. Graphic wise is waaay below my expectation there is so much lod pop on the screen its difficult to stay focus on something. Constantly something is changing in the screen due to lod transition, or big pouches of grass suddenly pop in .... wow. Maybe on PC its more enjoyable, anyway pass for me. After playing Halo inifinite during the weekend this looks and feels like some sort of bad last gen port...

I think it sucks. I just wanted BF4 again and this is not it. Can you cancel the pre-order?

    Yes you can.

I see a few folks say this is exactly what they wanted, but I see far more say they will skip this until it hits EA Vault and save themselves $70 - $110 or more.

Eeesh... I just played this on PC and man... it's rough. Lots of frametime spikes which make the first few matches almost unplayable. Visuals look pretty decent maxed out though, and FPS aren't too bad overall... but man.. they've got to fix that.

Surprises me. It feels very janky and floaty. Not at all like an AAA game. The mouse feels terrible.
