So, who all is attending GDC next week? I'll be there, though I don't yet know the exact schedule. If you're attending, please post in this thread

I'll be there together with quite a few other people from DICE. Haven't either decided on a schedule yet except for lots of meetings with various companies.
Just watched the trailer DICE released today, amazing stuff, very good work!

Lets see... it's called Frostbite... it's by ATI... the image of the R600 Ruby demo that was grabbeed had her wearing a snow coat... at previous conventions ATI has been known to show off techniques from there Demos (sometimes before the demos were shown)... chances are that presentation is going to include effects from the R600 Ruby demo. :)

Err Frostbie is D.I.C.E's new engine's name... lol

I might swing by for a quick look. A friend from overseas is attending, just want to catch up with him. Are there free sessions this time ?

Just got back from GDC. I'll probably be back again tomorrow or later tonight. Took lots of cell phone pictures, but I will bring my camera on the next trip. Sony has a fairly large booth set up demoing the PS3. They have VF5, Motorstorm, and a few others on hand. There's a UE3/UT demo -- looks good, but I was not totally blown away by the framerate at this point. They have some development demo machines set up running VS2005 and some fliers from IBM and Sony on CELL development resources (including the cell sdk and links to cellperformance.com).

I tried to grab all the free stuff that wasn't nailed down, though admittedly I didn't come away with much. I think our booth had some of the best stuff, actually. The best (only?) booth-babes are at the S3 booth, so be sure to check that out if you have a chance.
