Aureal Vortex 2 drivers, WindowsXP?

Is it possible to get reference drivers for Aureal Vortext 2 based sound cards to work under WindowsXP?

I dug out my old Diamond MX300, because I'm puttin a PC together for my brother, and my old POS SB Live is deservingly dead. I'm really hopin there's some drivers for the Aureal2 cards for WindowsXP.

There's should be a generic driver in WinXP. There used to be a site at www.vortexofsound.com that had all sorts of drivers for aureal cards, but it looks like it is gone now.

I still think the MX300 is one of the best sound cards ever made. I'm pretty sure I've still got mine somewhere, I might have to dig it out again it see how it works.

There might be some Win2k drivers around if you can find them. They may work better than the default WDM drivers. Something like this?
