Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Socket AM2 Review

Ahh right, I think I remember now, thanks.
There are the 3 DDR RAM clocks:
1: The core memory chip clock (200mhz for both DDR 400 & DDR 800)
2: The clock of the other stuff on a DIMM (200mhz for DDR 400 but 400mhz for DDR2 800)
3: The effective clock of the bus (400mhz for DDR 400, 800mhz for DDR2 800)

The divider affects the speed of the 2nd clock so hitting 200mhz is easy with DDR (since it starts with 200mhz at the main clock generator to start with) but the int divider with odd multipliers becomes an issue trying to hit 400mhz.

Or did my mind just take a trip to Makestuffupolis?

Edit: bingo
