ASUS P4C800 Deluxe RAID 0 Performance

My motherboard is an ASUS P4C800 Deluxe and I'm not pleased with it's RAID 0 performace. I ran a Canopus DV storm test and it was 51/89 which is better than 25/25 on ATA100 hard drives, but not what I should be getting. I'm using 2 WD Raptors in RAID 0 with the latest motherboard bios and fastrak driver for the onboard RAID controller. Does anyone else having this motherboard either support me in this matter or share their experience on running hard drives in RAID 0? Thanks!

It's probably due to the Promise controller. If you were using a Southbridge controller (like the ICH5R) you would probably see better performance.

I would try running the test, but I can't find a place to get it. Or is it built into the software itself?
