The problem is that most of the money is in "Northern Bank" notes and the serial numbers for a large proportion of the cash are known. This makes the money all but useless as it will be impossible to spend outside of Northern Ireland and the police there will be looking very carefully for anything amiss! 
Most likely you'd have a plan for getting out of the country. Hit up some where like mexico , move around alot while in these areas and you will be fine .
Personaly if I robed a bank here in the usa , I'd go strait to mexico (very easy to get into ) Start making my way south buy a cheap boat and then travel the world
Or i'd buy a boat , leave it in jersey , rob a bank , hit the boat and be off . Spend small amounts and don't stay anywhere long .
