Tiny Glade (PC)

Looks a lot like Dreams

It's made by two people who are former employees at Embark. I think it was sort of a mentor, mentee situation with Ana making this game in her spare time. Eventually it became something interesting enough that she left Embark to pursue it full time and Tom left to join her in making it. Both of them have really interesting work. Ana seemed to be focused on creating procedural tools and Tom was rendering. I'd be really interested in watching some tech talks about this game. These are really two creative people with seemingly a lot of technical chops, so I'm really interested in seeing where they go from here. Hope the game is a huge success for them.

Interesting little detail I hadn't seen. Game is using the ECS from Bevy Engine. Guess it makes sense since the game is written in Rust. Not sure of many games that have been developed using Rust, because so many are legacy code bases.

Major update

They removed the light count limit of 32. You can now have seemingly as many lights as you want, and can adjust intensity.
