    Diablo III - It's official

I have a level 60 Monk and have relegated him to farming Act I in inferno until i get better equipment. I made a foray into the canyon in Act II and decided very fast that I would do butcher runs for a week. 1 Butcher run - 10-20 rares - 95% vendored. 1 drop every 2 runs boosts up my...

    Diablo III - It's official

After playing through the monk and witch doctor and it was so easy (no deaths), I watched the Blizz Con sessions on difficulty and leveling. Basically what the beta is testing is equivalent to tutorial mode. After level 10 the game changes a lot so they say. The Skeleton King is equivalent to...

    Google set to Acquire Motorola

It seemed that all the patent lawsuits were against manuacturers and not Google and Android directly. Owning Motorola ensures having a manufacturer that has enough patents to avoid litigation while creating and selling its own handsets. The only way that could help other manufacturers of...

    Blackberry Playbook

I bought a 32Gb Playbook and been enjoying it immensely. The latest download today even made the Tablet crisper and even more responsive. The app list keeps getting longer and longer. Still missing some of the big names, Kindle reader and such but they supposedly coming. This is going to be...

    Blackberry Playbook

Well the product is just being released. I thought I reead that they have 25,000 native apps and this ability just adds quickly the number of apps available even if a lot of them are mediocre. I pretty sure iPad and Android did not have 100,000 plus apps when they first started selling...

    Blackberry Playbook

No published apps list. However, they have had developers working on apps for 6 months with teh incentive of a free Playbook. In addition, QNX is POSIX compliant and there is rumours that Android apps may run under QNX. We will know when its released.

    Forum Organisation Ideas & Suggestions

Since these changes are what will be Beyond3D for a year or so, It seems to me that we might contemplate looking to differentiate Tablets from handheld. With the explosion of tablets coming and with lots of competition, the gaming and such will start to differentiate Tablets from what we...

    Blackberry Playbook

True -- but Apple does only 4:3 ratio so if you are used to using 16:10 or 16:9 ratios and design programs based on that, you are stuck. /sarcasm Actually tablets all are NO choice... whomever makes... Choice is always good, we have on PC's and not on tablets :)

    Blackberry Playbook

Yeah... TAT did the initial Android interface so I expect that Blackberry phones will pretty well be looking a lot different by the end of 2011. The acquisition of QNX in 2010 really indicates that a major overhaul is in the works from a UI and OS system perspective. Like many OS's the...

    Blackberry Playbook

iPad's 4:3 ratio... We been run through the changes in screen sizes all ready in our monitors, finally replaced last of my monitors in my home systems to 16:9. I really would like to see standardized sizes for even the tablets. I can see Apple announcing next year - Replace your iPad 1/2...

    Microsoft's Courier 'digital journal'

Funny thing. I was just reading a book " One on One" regarding interviews with various people and read the 2 interviews with Bill Gates over the last 10 years. He was adamant that tablets were the future and they would change the computing environment. And it strikes me strange that there...

    Windows Home Server V2 (Vail).

Finally downloaded the beta. Will make a virtual server on my Server 2008 R2 to test out. I have separate machine running the original (absolutely think WHS is the best thing) When it comes out RTM... I been mulling over running it this way anyways (virtual) and this old Q6600 with 8GB of...

Windows Mobile 7 phones start leaking

It may be bullshit, but as far as the consumer is concerned, you are charged a set amount if there is not a contract and then they price your contracted version as if it is subsidized. At the end of the day they use whatever means they can to lock you into their contract.

Windows Mobile 7 phones start leaking

The iPhone changed the Mobile Phone game- or at least the marketing of it did. Before the iPhone, I am sure most people got phones and kept them until, they broke, got lost or finally if out of contract- got something prettier. The iPhone and its marketing came along. It mainly markets not...
