    Electric Vehicle Thread!

I have seen studies on the tire issue, but it might have figured on plastic pollution not lungs and pm2.5. it was a legitimate issue though. Pick your poison I suppose. Lighter evs mostly fixes it though. Perhaps less full size pickups.

I shudder to think of the repair cost when this is all finished.

Intel ARC GPUs, Xe Architecture for dGPUs [2022-]

I sure hope they don't give up on the market. Glad to see that so far they have continued. My A770 is still doing fine and it will be a while till I upgrade again.

    Visit to Japan in 2025

Just got off our first shinkansen and it sure would be nice to have those in the States. The population density in the Tokyo MSA is wild. It just goes on and on.

    Visit to Japan in 2025

We are on the way. So far the bus to the airport was delayed but we arrived and our flight got delayed so we were plenty early. Then it was delayed twice more so we would miss our connection. Rerouted and now arrive at 4:30am half a day later instead of 9pm so the first hotel is a loss...

Man the medical system can be frustrating. I've been told I could be hospitalized to skip the wait as well. It seems pretty crazy as a plan. Glad you could avoid that.

I might have fulfilled a teen-age dream. Bought a fat PS3. Now what?

Just make sure it is warm when you are trying to take it apart so you don't break anything plastic clipwise and take a lot of photos and you'll probably be fine. I haven't taken a ps apart but I've taken many things apart and usually it is easy except for the plastic it shell.

Musk bought Twitter, what hasn't gone wrong?

Tis fair and that is why I usually sat out of this thread. I never understood how it came to be when rpsc existed but it (rpsc) certainly doesn't exist now. Still I haven't spewed nonsense here given the parameters you outlined. It is a pretty tough sell at the moment to talk about Twitter/x...

That reminds me I liked mount and blade. What a long time ago.

Interesting to see all the going back and forth. I've been happy with a770 and it was a good deal at the time. The problem is Intel probably can't make money selling at prices like I got when I purchased it. If they don't make money they fold and we're back to two and a non competitive market.

Intel ARC GPUs, Xe Architecture for dGPUs [2022-]

I will have the a770 for awhile but it will be interesting to see if they release another faster version this generation. What would be great fun is if was like the old days where you could try unlocking cores and it was unknown whether you were getting an awesome deal or just a fine deal. If...

    Little secret: I HATE OFF-ROADING!!!

Of course, I just meant if the UK didn't care about making cars they can get Chinese citizens to pay for their cars, sell the scrap to EU automakers and then the EU countries can build cars with the scrap subsidized by Chinese citizens. This only is a helpful strategy if the UK didn't care about...
