Why are PC widescreens 16:10 while broadcast widescreen is 16:9? HD 1080p is 1920 x 1080 but PC res is 1680 x 1050

Thanks for your replies, seems 50/50, so the GBP100 difference might swing it. Can 1680x1050 cope with HD video (1080p)? I can't work out if its a silly question or not. Why would they not add 30 lines otherwise?

It has to fit under a desk and can't stick out. I'm using some non-descript box and I can't immediately see a label on it. It's certainly nothing fancy. In fact it probably counts as the "Y-fronts" of PC cases :)

A desktop is a possibility. When I build a new system I usually pass my old one on to a family member or friend. What I might have to do is buy a new case, put all my existing components in that, and all the new components in the old case. A bit more work, but finding a small case is proving...

Can anyone recommend a small ATX case which would still be big enough for a 8800GTS? The restriction is that it mustn’t be more than 16.5â€￾ (42 cm) from front to back (I know, its going to be a squeeze). Cheers

Kristof, would it be safe to assume we wont see any products based on Eurasia for 12-18 months? We still haven't seen too much based on MBX so far (one or two products) and that was licenced years ago.
