Xbox 360 Comes closer to hacking

It seems that microsoft made another security mistake, they provided the demo kiosks with disks that were not protected.
So team Pi after breaking the file system protection, now they have on their hands (and released at the same time on the net) the demo disk, you can download the disk (through the usual channels) and burn it onto a blank dvd-r here is the info from the nfo of that particular release.
So if they can run code from a burned disk, this is a major step towards not only hacking via modchip, but also with soft mods (like psp)

it may be like that because they may offer demos that can be downloaded and burned to a cd one day, like they have done with the backward compatible updates. from what I understand it just doesn't have a media flag so it could run off a cd-r, dvd-r, or the harddrive, if it did't have the same protection that everything else has it wouldn't run at all

I wouldn't be suprised if the demos that are downloaded from live could run on a burned disc also, the problem would be getting them off the harddrive though
