Wii USB bandwidth and latency

Does anyone know the latency in the Wii USB ports?

Also with the addition of a external HDD can you get Mac OSX(if it had enough RAM) to work on Wii?

Will the addition of a mouse and keyboard be slower for Wii than a normal Mac?

Can Mac games be run on a Wii that has OSX installed on it?(if it had enough RAM and a better graphics card)

No idea.

No. OSX only runs on Apple hardware.

Will it be slower to use if supported by Nintendo? No.

If Apple would allow OSX to run on a Wii..
If Nintendo would allow OSX to run on a Wii and provide all the drivers..
If you added new hardware to an embedded system..
If the game executable is compatible with the Wii's CPU or they recompile it into a (new) universal format..
Yes, yes they could.

Apple uses all the tricks they can to stop their software running on anything except their own hardware and Nintendo uses all tricks they have to stop people running software they haven't signed on their system.

Is it just me or does this guy seem like one excellent troller? ;)
If not, he sure has one hell of a knack to ask .. 'response-provoking' questions.

Can you run Xandros(user friendly) Linux on Wii?

Can the USB port support a External Harddrive?

Can you boot a OS through the USB from an external HDD?

Is the latency too high?
