PC-Engine said:As much as I like VF series, I really wish next generation we will see real physics based fighting. Like real physics based balance, traction, momentum, etc.

I stopped playing VF4 two months after its release due to the lack of competition (I'm never satisfied with AI when it comes to fighting games). The Tekken series is mainstream, so it's easier to find good opponent.

liverkick said:Yu Suzuki already confirmed they wont be going online with VF5 unfortunately. They're unable to maintain a constant 60fps with minimal lag over the network at this point in time so they ditched it entirely. Virtua Fighter is built on precision input by the frame and they felt compromising this quality would essentially make it a different game. You get the feeling that until they're able to get a near perfect translation online they wont do it at all.

Fast said:Maybe in the US. IIRC it was released at full price in EU.
Everyone seems to be out of stock, oh well.
