anybody been following this ?

i'm *somewhat* amazed by this bloke
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sportacademy/hi/sa/special_events/cycling/newsid_3055000/3055285.stm

he bust his collarbone pretty much at the start. retired,, then changed his mind and is cycling with a fractured bone.

but what's even more looney is that he bust the thing in the giro-d-italia and according to itv coverage had to have his teeth fixed,,, coz he'd been grinding them due to the pain . . . . .aaaaaaahhh

so can anyone beat lance armstrong ? ? ?

OLN (Outdoor Life Network) carries it, both live in the morning and a rebroadcast around 8:30 in the evenings.

Lance is in trouble. Did anyone see him cross the finish line of the Stage 13 the other day (the TT when he ran out of water and got beat by Ulrich)? He was literally frothing at the mouth - I thought at first he had put Zinc Oxide on his lips to protect from sunburn, but then they showed a shot of him at the start and it wasn't there. He's going to have to dig super deep the next few days if wants to win this one.

anyone know what station carries the race and when? Ive only followed it online. Go team USPS. ;)

later,

ITV2 does in the UK - perhaps you could put up a REALLY big dish and see if you can get a UK satellite :)

Yeah, after seeing stage 15, it looks like the old Lance is back. The only thing that might prevent him from winning it again would be another hot day on the final TT. Nobody said why he overheated so badly on the last TT (or why he ran out of water and nobody else did), so I'm not sure if he's addressed that problem or not. He did say in an interview that lots of things have gone wrong this Tour, many that he and his team haven't even talked about publicly. I wonder if one of those things is whatever caused him to dehydrate...
