    Did you even read the tweets? No you did not. They always discarded everything they had when they worked on the next project. There is no such thing as building on the previous engine at CDPR. Then they ended up hacking it up until it is not sustainable nor maintanable.

    not the first time where you posted the main thread of the conversation, but I read them when you shared most of the replies.

    That being said, they discarded everything until now, maybe with their current engine they could fix the mess and use it for future games. The base code of their engine was stolen, couldn't that play a huge factor on their decision? I guess so....

    They used Bioware's Aurora engine for that.
