I am. :)

so far, Worm and I have been initially discussed possibility to have Beyond3D board members meet and at least Onslaught from denmark has announced to be happy participator, if this happens...

anyone else having free time on 2nd week of August? AnteP? Humus? even Dave Baumann perhaps?

if Dave Barron is still in finland, maybe him too?

All the board members are welcome. :) just keep looking this thread once in a while, and when we know exact details about where and when, they will be posted here.

I'd gladly show. . .if you guys would be gracious enough to relocate it a little closer to Dayton, Ohio. ;)
The weather in Dayton stinks (I should know, having spent nearly 7 years at OSU ;)). You should move the meeting to the (San Francisco) Bay Area :)

You're preaching to the choir. And it's really sucked this spring. Temperature's been like a god damn yo-yo here lately.

suuure we could think about that... as long as someone pays flight tickets and cargo for 2700-3000 computer users that are coming with their computers to the helsinki, plus the organisisers and the rest of audience that does not have computers with them...

John, I don't doubt you or OpenGL Guy not having afford all of this, but maybe you could find some other use to all of that money. ;)

so, practically... no... the idea is about meeting with ppl interested 3D graphics, so what would be better place to meet than World's biggest youth computer happening? :)

I'll be there (as usual). I really hope that many B3D users would be able to join in! It'd be a fun meeting! You know, argue & flame in person! hehe..

OpenGL guy,

why not ask your employer for the tickets? You know, to represent your company! :D Take sireric or someone else with you.

I think that everyone from (at least) Scandinavia should attend. It's close, not that expensive, and above all - fun. You know, eat some scrappy food, have some beers and talk 3D tech and such! A true nerdish event. ;)

btw, isn't Dave from UK? That's not far away either..

Nah, just fly over here! ;) If you do, I promise to buy you a beer. Finnish beer is btw world-famous, so the trip is worth it!

As I recall from my visits to Finland to see the Futuremark guys beer is also famous for being extremely expensive over there, so bring lots of money. :(

Not a problem if you can expense it, however... ;)

Possible future visitors. ;)

I'll probably be there too, like every year since the first Asm (except 1999 when I was too ill to move a muscle).

id love to go but it would cost me an arm and a leg to get from the US to the assembly03. still a poor student. :(

later,
