Steam Offline Mode is not 100% reliable

maybe simply due to my bad blood with technology but... turns out steam offline mode is not 100% reliable.

yesterday i suddenly got asked to login, and i cant, so i cant run my legit video editing program.

luckily i also have the cracked version installed, just in case for things like this.

currently Origin hasnt got any offline problem with me. But i more often use steam, so the probability to stumble to that kind of bug is much higher on steam

Doesn't Steam require you to re-authenticate once in a while if you are using it in offline mode?

dunno, i have not read that warning when i go to offline mode
