OK, this has happened now with two different Audigy boards.
And in both Windows XP and Windows 2000 Professional.
If the Audigy is in, and the driver is loaded, the card will hard-lock after about 10 minutes of playing any sound, be it MP3 or in-game music or whatever.
My system is as follows...
Intel VC820 mainboard. P3-800EB. 256MB PC800 DRDRAM. Kyro 2. Lucent WinModem v.90/92. 12MB Voodoo2. 20GB IBM HDD. 20x10x40 Yamaha CD-RW. 52x LG CD-ROM. Generic FDD. One case fan.
All powered by a 300W ATX2.03 PSU.
I know it isn't a power or heat issue (tried a 486 HSF on the previous one, and tried disconnecting both CD drives, my FDD, and my case fan, and both times still locked up)... any suggestions?
All instances with the latest drivers off soundblaster.com, plus all other drivers are all the way up to date (including mainboard BIOS).
