Sneak peek at AMD Dragon Platform and Phenom II

Most of you don't know me because I generally only lurk here. But I'm a big fan of Rys' work and have found a couple answers to questions here in these forums. I'm also on staff over at The Tech Report.

I'm posting here because AMD offered us a handful of invites to a series of events at which they'll be previewing their Dragon Platform with the Phenom II processor. More details in this thread. Being a holiday weekend and lower forum traffic over there, we still have more invites available, and AMD is sending the invites out on Monday. So, I figured I'd see if anyone here is interested. PM me here at B3D or there at TR and I'll try hook you up.

Do they include, picking me up in a limo and flying me to the venue in a private jet ?
if so im in :D
Sorry, but I doubt it.

The events are in San Fran, Chicago, and Boston. Generally they hold these at a hotel downtown or near the airport, and will probably have several rigs showing off the shiny new hardware. Attendees will probably get to play around with some new games and benchmarks on the rigs. Sometimes there are prizes of CPUs or just t-shirts, but no limos or escorts. ;)

I'm about 20 miles south of Chicago and I would LOVE an invite, any available for that event?

EDITED BITS: Could you fix my password at Tech Report? It seems screwed since y'all redid your database....

E-mailed, PMed over at TechReport, and the password problem is all sorted out....it was a PEBKAC error of the first degree.

Hmm what time is the Boston event at?
Sorry, don't know times or venues. But if you might be interested PM or email me and I'll pass along your name for an invite. If it ends up you can't make it, give it to someone else, or just don't worry about it.

I can make the boston one if you have passes left. I can use 2. Will send u an email
eastmen, did you ever email me? I don't think I got it.

AMD has informed us we can add a few more names to the invite list. Any more takers? Especially for Chicago and Boston.

BTW, the events are from 7pm-9pm, though they said participants will be welcome to stick around longer.
