I had the honor to see Slayer + Slipknot playing live yesterday. What a phantastic show! If you should have a chance to see them, do it.

The stage reminded me of Doom3 somehow...

Maybe they sucked at that show. Here recently they had to stop a show due to Tom's voice going out.

Well, here they played without the slightest glich. And I'm a very hard critic, being a musician myself.

jvd, maybe they just had a bad day. Or was it before Lombardo came back? That would explain it.

i saw them in 98 and 99 and once in a bar in 2000 , in 98 we didn't listen much so i can't tell u but both 99 and 2000 they sucked , but i normaly don't count bars against bands as sometimes bars just aren't good for music

Too bad about slipknot being there..
even when they where true, they sucked, now they're just awful.
In order to sound heavy, they have to detune their guitars to something stupid and play an open riff with palm muting(there new single).

jvd: that time it was all with that other drummer, Lombardo came back this year. He was always the "power" component of the band. The show two days ago was nothing short of phantastic, perfect sound, not a single failure.

Slipknot didn't play that well except for the drummer, but the show was worth seeing - lotsa fun...
