In the new issue of Famitsu, Sega announced that Sonic Team is
developing Phantasy Star Universe. Nothing else is known, neither the
platform(s), nor if this is an offline or online game.

More seriously, i heard a rumor stating that Sonic Team was working on a sequel to Phantasy Star Online, and it was planned to all platforms (including PS2). This rumors has only one or two month.
