> Destroying the deathstar never gets old.

You won't be doing that in this game though (except in multiplayer).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo

Okay i feel a bit better. At least i can destroy it in multi play.

You confuse "any response at all" with affirmation of your suspicions (if you are caustic enough, you can generate response to virtually anything just by virtue of pissing people off). It's just people expressing viewpoints counter to your own. You, OTOH, seem to be on some sort of "mission" whether you admit you enjoy it or not. It's right there in your little statement. Of course, you will deny it now. You mean no wrong, you only intend to bring TRUTH to the BLIND, yadda, yadda, yadda... How could anyone fault you for such an obviously noble goal like that?

Just take this as a cue for some serious introspection, not an invitation for further discussion on how untrue you feel it is.

Shall we now allow the regular progress of this Rogue Leader topic (now "PS2 free" from here on out)?

randycat, stop it, please. If there is something that I´ve learned after posting in message boards (it´s a shame I don´t have enough knowledge to contrivute more often, but I try to learn), is that people never change their mind nor the way they see things.

I even tried to make jvd see his own faults, and invited him to introspection, but it was futile. Ridiculous arguements, opinions turned into facts, inconsistent POVs (SONY is terrible and should die but MS and N can have the beneift of the doubt, there´s not a difference between PS2´s and the rest library, CELL is for PS4 and will not be in PS3, and my favorite, last gen games look like first next gen games) will continue.

A person tries to discuss logically with him, but instead of being objective, he "takes a side" (warping truth in the process) and goes rambling on and on and on until he tires you out, and believe me, it is frustrating to talk with him. He´s a grown up fanboy to me.

Hey, you're preaching to the choir, Almasy. I think bringing this out into the open will create more solidarity amongst other posters who have wondered similarly on their own. Hopefully, it isn't just "you" or just "me" that has identified this peculiar form of discussion participation. Rest assured that I have absolutely no intention to entertain jvd's wildly looping notions time and time again. I'll just point at it and say, "Did you guys just see that wild loopty loop he just did?" The rest of y'all can take that however you choose. :)

Yeah, it really is noticeable, especially in several of the discussions between him and Paul, others where Panajev and Vince are involved, and I abandoned the Square discussion because frankly, I was tired of not seeing him justify even one of his opinions on them (and I think that the majority will agree with me that a grounded, informed opinion has to stand on firm facts and good reasoning, and he provided neither in the entire discussion).

Normally, I wouldn´t care about him (I usually ignore people I don´t like), but I feel his input makes many of the possibly interesting threads redundant, and thus lower the quality of the entire message board. Not to mention that at least from my experience, a mod should be as objetive as possible.

I just said that because I´m kind of down when it comes to internet discussions, since to date, I have yet to see a single person positively change his views and try to be more objective.

Ummm...and BTW, what does preaching to the choir mean (I´m not american)?
