The scientific article claiming that they're life of extraterrestrial origin is just ridiculous. I mean, if you consider for a moment the timescales involved, the probabilities of us seeing something like this are just unbelievably tiny. And the author makes a number of claims that are extremely easily-explained by simpler means (such as the statement that the affected area is an oval: more likely it has something to do with the coast nearby).

Yeah, it would be nice to see investigation from someone was acutally researching to find out what the red rain is rather than just trying to proof it is from E.T.
