And that of course is rubbish. We have a lot of sunshine, especially in the summer. It's just that England is in a temperate zone and we do have distinct seasons with changable weather. It's no surprise sitting not far off Europe and Africa, not that far from the Arctic, at the end of the Gulf Stream and on the eastern coast of the Atlantic.

Here in the UK it rarely gets too cold and it rarely gets too hot. It is often a bit damp but this means that almost the whole of the countryside is farmed. No deserts or permafrost here!

And today it's nice and sunny!! If you live close to a station you don't even notice the freezing cold!!
