what's the difference between the pause and stop commands in eMule/BitTorrent clients?
 
Pause keeps you connected to whoever you're downloading from, so that when you start again, it does it immediately. Stop disconnects you from the source(s), so when you restart the download you have to get connected again and that takes time sometimes, to find sources and stuff.

Or that's my take anyway, seen how they behave.
