These videos are a month old so you will see objects pop out and pop in and stutter in some parts of gameplay. The demos are running on a PC:

I can't check the movies now but could you clarify the above? Are you saying they are in-game cinematics and not gameplay?
 
Nope, It looks like these are clips of the 40 minute Oblivion presentation. Just broken down to smaller chunks... and very dark.

I think he mean that the movies are tech demos "like" or, in some cases, just to present the levels, I will say more after I saw the games.

I think they are. Which is good as I want to see the AI but not the rest (already seen it). But they weren't downloading for me.
 
I had to right click and save as... then rename the HTM file that the compy wants to save it as to 'something.wmv'

wow he says half the disc is filled with voice. 50 hours of voice is around 4.2 gigs ? Damnnn


Anyway this game looks great and its really a step above everything else i've seen on the xbox 360 or on high end pcs

Yeah it`s great how they can create a game out of that engine that looks really next-gen.
And maybe not all hope is lost for Sony fans, there was an announcement on a PS3 version of the engine a few days ago.

EDIT: The version was actually announced a few months ago, but the news is that the version is now almost finished.

the one for the ps3 was announced and then um unannounced.

So i dunno , ign and other places still don't have a ps3 version listed. I'm doubtfull of its existance.

By the time the ps3 hits the states and europe where this game is most popular it will be over a year old or just about a year old
 
uh oh, apparently Oblivion has been delayed until 2Q 06.

I wasn't going to say anything but I'm kind of glad as these videos look a bit unpolished.

well they seem to be locking threads left and right on the offical forums . Perhaps its a mistake and the usa launch is still on schedual .

Oh well there are about another 20 games or so coming out before january for me to play
 
Actually, this is pretty old. I remember reading it about it a few days ago on GAF (it's a pretty good place for the latest game info). I guess I should have said something... ... sorry... well, not really. No one wants to be the barer of bad news, eh?
