Has anyone ever thought of putting a border between screens in 2 player mode? It looks as though it would be very easy as is to start aiming at things on the opposite screen. I think a border between the screens would help reduce those "o' shit, that's not my character!" moments when playing a heated split-screen game.

you might get that impression from screens but when the game is in motion and the "space" in the two windows is moving around in different direction, It's probably pretty easy not to confuse the two.

Great looking game btw. And cool movies. I'm getting this game for sure.

ermmm..... "Atmospheric lighting"??

can anyone explain? or is it on the same level as the Blast Processor in the Genesis.... (see: PR talk)

No, 'atmospheric' is just an adjective used by Trilobyte to describe the lighting. A lot of games have atmospheric lighting.

I think the term that Factor 5 has used with this game is 'light scattering' or something like that.

Its light scathering, and far as i know, only another game use it and its onimusha 3. RS3 will be the first game on the market to use it, unless i somehow missed an old game that was using that tech.

The demo that's in store kiosks now didn't look very impressive to me, but these videos do look sweet. Regardless, it's not getting more than a rental from me. I place playing this series slightly below watching paint dry as far as fun factor.

I wonder if they'll have widescreen support this time?

I've had numerous bad experiences in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater to show me otherwise, and the backgrounds in Rebel Strike I think will tend to be more uniform than in the first game.
