highlights:
all digital VRMs
user-selectable power delivery to each PCIe slot up to 255W
user-selectable HT link frequency up to 5.2GT/s

The ability to deliver up to 255W through the PCIe slot is a huge move. You can pretty much eliminate the need for 6/8-pin power connectors when using an RD790 board. Of course, you still need a PSU capable of delivering that kind of power, but cutting down on cable clutter is a nice bonus.

You sure of that Shaidar? I wouldn't exactly start doing the happy dance yet. The mobo can supply up to 255w through the PCIe slot, but how much are the current gen of video cards designed to take through the PCIe slot? :|

Until you know that, it's not an advantage. :(

Why do you think they call it Crossfire?

The Gigabyte 690G SH3 Im using has settings for the wattage on the PCI-E slots. I don't know the max wattage but the setting are from 0 to 500.
