New PSP Lite?

The new PSP Lite/PSi is suppose to be have a touch screen like the DS.

The PSi is designed with a nearly unscratchable touch screen that will give users a virtual keyboard in which to enter internet addresses and other duties previously unavailable to PSP users. The rest of the body is constructed of matte finish plastic to eliminate the smudge-laden appearance of its glossy exteriored sibling. The " i" also gives the PSi the ability to work not just with WiFi networks but with WiBro, UMTS, EVDO, and future WiMax networks via switchable modules that correspond with each system and their sponsors... Which leads to some questions; wireless photo sharing?, peer-to-peer gaming? or possibly music, game and video downloads?

Thoughts?

I'm thinking it sounds like a late April Fools joke not that said additons won't be welcome. The finish I could see changed and stuff like that but the touchscreeen I really doubt.

I'd be surprised if true. 4.5" is too small to be comfortable. A 3" screen means you need to go cross-eyed to appreciate the graphics, while giving only 1" for the controls. That means the four button clusters on each side span half an inch each. They will be probably be totally covered by the thumbs and make invidual buttons presses awkward. By comparison the Gameboy Micro has an inch available for direction and AB buttons, plus size is less of an issue as direction can be rolled under the thumb with the Nintendo cross controller, while A and B buttons are likewise a roll of the thumb to reach. And I've got tiny little hands!

1) A site that seems to have no credibility has this information (that nobody else has)

2) Picture is an awful cheeseball render.

3) A site that has no credibility is posting this.

I thought the last line was chuckle-worthy:
One thing is for sure, without the support of UMD by the major movie studios, Sony may have to find another way to bring in profitable content.
Because we all know PSP exists just to play movies... I wouldn't be surprised if GTA:LCS alone has outsold all UMD movie put together (certainly beat them revenue wise).
