Yes!!!! Theres a world map!!!!!!! And the flying looks great!!!!...oh man...I can't wait to get this game.
I heard that the Japanese version version was challenging...

Grandia is among my favorite games ever. I didn't like Grandia II, at all. Grandia Xtreme was a good dungeon RPG, but not the kind sequel I was expecting.
I have hope for Grandia 3. High hopes! Don't let me down Game Arts.

I just hope it gets ported at this point. There's no official release date for the US yet - an omnious sign a month after launch...
EDIT: Well, Gamespot did see an "early" English localization attempt at the SE office, but it's still too soon to tell. After all, Mother and FF2j (just two of the better known examples) were both completely translated and yet they were never released.
