What does that mean? They're going to fix yours? I doubt that
Well, that board is out of stock at Newegg, so I assumed it meant they don't have any 570s to send right now. Why I have no idea.
Edit: just checked, it's back in stock now. Go figure.

Is it possible that Fermi boards have a high failure rate? I had two bad GTX 580s...both were VRAM issues...
Video card RAM seems to have to be able operate at incredibly high temperatures these days since reference designs often use the same heatsink assembly to cool memory and the GPU itself. I wouldn't be surprised if this causes a lot more component failures than in the past, especially considering the rather monstrous signalling rates these memory chips use...I suspect that - to offset the high chip cost - nv might be using inferior RAM.
Received an email today saying that it'll take 10 working days to turn the 570 around, with either a repaired board or a replacement coming my way. So I'm probably looking at very late Feb or early Mar. Works out to about 3 weeks total, which is fine with me so long as the new board works fine.
By then? Probably an Intel one..ive got a gtx-260 with 8 years left on the warranty if it ever dies im going to wait until 2018 untill I send it back, imagine what type of card i'll get in exchange
Just got an email from MSI's RMA service, a board is on its way back to me (no idea if it's my board repaired or a new one).
5 day turnaround...better than they said (better to make the surprises good).
